Formby Door Company LTD Recommend that all customers please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing any orders on our website. Once your order has been completed through our website, you are understood to have read and accepted these terms and conditions. If you have placed your order via the telephone, or in store you have agreed to these terms and conditions.

We Reserve the right to change prices, specifications and displayed information without prior notice. 

Although every effort is made to ensure that products are shown as true to life as possible, information including images, product descriptions, product specifications and even pricing can only be as accurate as the website, user hardware and user software allows. We recommend that customers who are ordering specialist products, special order items, or are unsure about a question to speak with our team first before ordering. Our customer service team are on hand 6 days a week to answer all of your questions (operating hours shown on contact us page), so make sure to contact us via email or telephone facilities to speak with a member of our team.

Warping, twist/cup and bowing of doors are not considered to be defects unless they exceed the following tolerances. Warping: 6mm in the plane of the door itself. Twist/cup: 2mm across the width of the door. Bow: 4mm along the length of the door.

We cannot 100% guarantee a colour match for a products from an image that is displayed on our website. Displays and graphics hardware can produce slight variations in colours displayed and it is always difficult to ensure colours are accurately displayed on every display. The Appearance of finished and unfinished doors are not warranted. Natural variations of texture or colour of the timber aren’t considered as defects.

Item out of stock

In the unlikely event that an item that you have ordered is out of stock, we reserve the right to negotiate a like for like product similar to the one that you have ordered. If this is the case you will always be contacted to inform you of this first. If there is no like for like product of a similar price range, we will contact you to discuss this and make ever effort to help find you a suitable solution to the issue instead, if you wish for us to do so. Failing this you will be entitled to a full refund.

Due to the nature of our products, we often deliver items direct from supplier. Although we make the most effort to keep our stock checks accurate, product may become out of stock. To avoid disappointment at the checkout, we recommend you contact us before placing your order and we will be more than happy to check the stock of any items you wish to purchase.

Pricing Policy

All of the products on our website are priced in pounds sterling. And include UK VAT at the current rate.

Our website contains a huge number of high quality products and despite the best efforts of our team there is always a small possibility that some goods may contain errors and defects. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that mistakes are kept to a minimum there is always a possibility of an error.  If there is any information that you believe to be incorrect, please inform a member of our team and we will have the error investigated and corrected immediately.

If a product is incorrectly priced on the website and you have ordered the product. We will contact you to notify you of the error, offering a solution to the issue. Where a product’s correct price is lower than the price displayed on the website, we will charge the lower amount and refund the difference back to your account when dispatching the goods to you. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price displayed on the website, then we will contact you directly with an offer to pay the remaining amount. Failing this we will reject the order completely and refund the full amount into your account.  

Payment Methods

Payment for all goods can be made by credit or debit card, bank transfer (BACS) and PayPal. All of these options are currently available at the checkout when you have added items into your basket.

You are also able to completed complete payments and orders over the telephone or in our store. If we suspect an order to be fraudulent in any way, then we reserve the right to reject the order. We cannot refund any orders that are flagged by our system as fraudulent and will forward all details to relevant authorities.

When your payment will be taken

Your payment will be debited when your order is placed successfully (Unless otherwise arranged with a member of our team). These funds are subject to the banking system and though we do not receive the funds immediately, we will still honor the order and arrange for dispatch in line with the product lead times with our suppliers.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply any item, you will be entitled to a full refund to your card for the full value of the order. This refund will be completed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy.

Delivery of your goods

We are always committed towards creating a fast and hassle free delivery service for out customers. We cannot be held responsible for external factors which may affect delivery such as couriers or suppliers. These factors can sometimes be beyond our control. Please allow up to a maximum of 28 working days for delivery to be made.

Returns and Refunds

If you have any issues with your order on arrival, you will be entitled to an exchange, replacement or a full refund upon confirmation that there is a fault. Where necessary, we will arrange to collect the faulty items and replace as quick as possible.

All of our orders have a 14 day money back guarantee as standard. You have the right to cancel without giving a reason for 14 days from the point when you receive your full order.

All refunds must be returned via the original payment method. Please allow up to a maximum of 14 days for the funds to return to your account. We offer full terms and conditions on any returns/cancellations and refunds on the Returns & Refunds page.

Formby Door Company LTD reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions of sale at any time.
